Clearwater River April 22nd
It was an absolutely stunning day this Sunday, and wading through the upper banks of the Clearwater River in AB was the perfect way to spend the day. We only caught one Bull trout but it was a real nice one. It was hungry too, had the tail of what looked like a brown trout sticking out of its mouth, and yet it still took the wooly. We didn't have much luck on the surface, but we found a really nice hole and had a couple of hits streaming. We plan on going back before the runoff hinders the visability too much, and hopefully this time we see some trout rising.
